About Me!

Hi! I'm Amanda - a singer, actress, and voice/piano teacher based in Washington D.C. :)

I'm originally from Philadelphia (Go Birds!) and currently reside in Rockville, MD with my fiancé and our two perfect kitties (don't worry I have pictures). I received my Bachelor’s of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Delaware and my Master's of Music in Voice Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester.

I am currently in the Sterling Playmaker’s production of Anastasia where I portray the VIBRANT Countess Lily (u/s) and look forward to my debut in August! My other most recent credits include La Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro (Eastman Opera Scenes, Annex 804) and Florencia in Catán’s Florencia en el Amazonas (Eastman Opera Theatre, Kodak Hall). At the University of Delaware, I performed extensively on the Thompson Theatre stage and Puglisi Orchestra Hall, appearing as Anna Gomez in Menotti’s The Consul, Cendrillon in Viardot’s Cendrillon, Monica in Last Days, and a featured soloist in Caccini’s La liberazione di Ruggiero. I also covered Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro and was a frequent soloist in UD’s Fall and Christmas Cabarets.

I am lucky to have worked with many esteemed teachers and coaches including Madeline Raube, Teri Bickham, Kathryn Cowdrick, Timothy Long, and Wilson Southerland. I keep up with my training through private lessons with Madeline Raube (MT) and Teri Bickham (Classical), and acting classes with the esteemed Theatre Lab in Washington D.C.  When I'm not on stage, I am proudly teaching private voice and piano lessons with the International School of Music and in my own private studio!
